One question: how old is your kid. That's it.

how it works

Three steps. No rabbit-hole.

1

Tell us their age

One tap. 0–18 months up to 13 years. That's all we need.

2

Get their playground

Six corners, all picked for their exact age: books, stories, outdoor, meals, crafts, and more.

3

Pick what you fancy

Open any tile. Real ideas, properly thought through. Save the ones you like for later.

a real idea

This is what you'll get.

The Cardboard Periscope

See around corners. Spy on the dog. Built from two loo roll tubes and a mirror.
25 minutes 🫧 Mess: 1 of 3 💪 Dad effort: 1 of 3 👶 Ages 5–10
  1. Cut two rectangular slots near the top and bottom of a kitchen-roll tube, on opposite sides.
  2. Tape a small mirror diagonally inside each slot, shiny side facing in.
  3. Let your kid decorate the tube — space ranger, pirate spyglass, submarine.
  4. Test it on something boring first (a wall), then try it around corners.
  5. Level up: add a second tube and build a longer one that bends around doorways.

Know Your Kid.

Activities are the easy part. The harder part is understanding what your six-year-old is actually going through right now, and how to be there for it. Papa Moustache gives you one warm, honest read per age — no jargon, no guilt, just what you needed to hear.

your 6-year-old

Something quiet and wonderful is happening this year. Your kid is starting to live partly inside their own head — imaginary conversations, secret rules, strong theories about how the world works. If they seem a bit dreamy or suddenly very serious about something small, that's not weird. That's a brain rehearsing how to be a person.

And listen — you don't have to get this year perfect. You just have to be there, mostly calm, mostly present. The fact that you're reading this means you're already paying more attention than a lot of dads ever did. That counts.
